Marieta Mangasaryan is a distinguished professional pianist, celebrated for her extensive teaching experience spanning over 35 years and her significant impact on a generation of successful musicians. Her deep commitment to music education has fostered numerous students who have gone on to excel in various music-related careers globally.
Marieta embarked on her musical journey at the prestigious Tchaikovsky Professional Music School, later advancing her studies at the Yerevan State Conservatory named after Komitas, where she obtained a master’s degree in Piano. Her professional career flourished as she became a prominent soloist with the Symphonic Orchestra of National Radio and Television of Armenia. During this period, Marieta’s performances were featured in virtually every Armenian movie soundtrack, contributing extensively to the Golden Music Fund of Armenia and leaving a lasting imprint on the nation’s cultural heritage.
Her teaching tenure at the Yerevan State Conservatory, alongside her roles at the Music school named after M. Yekmalyan and the Yerevan School of Art and Music, underscores her profound influence in shaping the artistic talents of countless students. Marieta’s teaching philosophy, deeply rooted in kindness and patience, ensures a nurturing environment where each student receives personalized attention tailored to their individual learning needs. This approach has consistently led her students to achieve remarkable success in numerous music competitions.
In addition to her formal roles, Marieta has provided over 35 years of private piano instruction, accommodating students of all ages and skill levels. Her educational methodologies were significantly influenced by her time with esteemed educators such as Prof. Katy Malkhasyan and Prof. Silva Bunatyan, who shaped her approach to music teaching.
In 2011, Marieta relocated to Los Angeles, bringing her vast expertise and passion for music education to the International School of Music, where she joined the faculty in June 2012. At the school, Marieta continues to inspire and develop the musical capabilities of her students, ensuring that each one has the opportunity to thrive and enjoy their musical journey.
