Hasmik Adamyan has been passionate about music since she was five years old. Her formal musical education began at the prestigious Yerevan Specialized Secondary Music School after Tchaikovsky, where she graduated as a pianist. During her studies, she had the privilege of working with the school’s choir director, which included performing segments of opera and deepening her understanding of vocal music.
Her educational journey continued at the Komitas Yerevan State Conservatory, where she studied choir conduction. This phase of her studies allowed her to engage extensively with choral music, enhancing her skills in leading and organizing musical performances. Adamyan’s active participation in numerous concerts, particularly with the Speghani Choir, further honed her musicianship.
After relocating to the United States, Adamyan pursued additional studies in music at Glendale Community College. This commitment to ongoing education is part of her dedication to deepening her knowledge of music theory and piano, ensuring she remains at the cutting edge of musical instruction.
Currently, she teaches students from diverse backgrounds, adapting her teaching methods to meet the unique needs of each individual. Her deep understanding of music theory and piano equips her to guide her students effectively on their musical journeys.
